Thank you to all brides who stopped into our booth at the Devotion Wedding Show.  I was so pleased to hear all the positive feedback about our booth display.  (I still can't believe I decorated as sick as I was the day before the show.)   I am sure that you had a pleasurable experience chatting with my husband, Rod.  He is pretty informative.  I'll further update the website with new pictures and package information as soon as I am able to keep my head up longer than five minutes.  I know a lot of you brides LOVED our new Sheer Contemporary set up, and I'm sure you were able to see other similar styles there as well and compare.  However, the incoming emails after and calls, which Rod is taking, after the show made it quite apparent that our booth/display was a hit.  Thank you to all who weathered the Flu, and especially to Crystal for another great show.  I'll see some of you again in March 2010 at the next show.

Important Note:

 Several weeks ago our server crashed.  It included a great deal of our new pictures, testimonials and thank you notes, and other images.  We will be doing our best to "duplicate" what was lost, however, this will take a bit of time to do.  Please be patient with us as we try to keep our site as current as possible with the summer of 2009 and at the same time, try to restore spring 2009 and fall and winter 2008.

Please remember that adding colour fabric to your headtable, guestbook table, gift table, and cake table is extra.  Adding to your backdrops is also extra which is not included with your tablework colours.  It is not included with decor packages.

Sheer Contemporary

In keeping up with the latest in style, I am please to announced our new decor package Sheer Contemporary. Add your wedding colour into the criss-crossed panel drapes which are illuminated with floodlights. Chose from floodlights or icicle lights for your table work. If you decide to add colour fabric to your table work, there will still be an additional fee. However, colour fabric is included in the backdrops at no additional cost.

Happily Ever After will continue to be available to those who have it booked for the 2009/2010 wedding season, and will discontinue for 2011, and Sheer Contemporary will take its place. Brides appear to be going with a more simple design instead of frills and poofy decor.

Just when I thought things couldn't get any better for 2007, 2008 came along and amazed me completely. I can't wait to see what 2009 has in store. As the new year comes in, we must say good-bye to the old year. Thank you to all my 2008 brides for making this another memorable year for me, as well, thank you to my other hundreds of brides from previous years for making Wedding Belles the success it is today. It's you, that makes it possible for all my future clients. Why? Because of your testimonials, on-going referrals, recommendations, and even suggesting new ideas that I can build upon not only for you, but to bring forth a fresh new idea for future brides. It give me great pleasure knowing that you chose me to assist you in being part of one of the most joyous and special days of your life.

What's on board for 09? Headtables and backdrops draped in coloured fabric and clean lines is one of the hottest new trends. Although some brides still want the traditional draped sheer and ivy with lights, we will be will offering both. However ladies, you must realized that coloured fabric comes with price. So when discussing your wedding with me, please mention if you are going traditional style or glamming it up with colour. Not matter which style, your wedding will look fabulous.

A must have for 2009 is chairs covers. Whether you choose full ballroom covers or backslips, your venue will be transformed into an elaborate affair to remember. Prices are listed under Decor & packages, Chair Covers. Co-ordinating table runners for the guests tables tie the entire colour scheme together. **Runner Special - co-ordinating table runners at no charge when booking your reception decor, chair covers and church decor together as a total package. Covers are provided for the headtable in all our decor packages at no charge.

Another new design which will be out in 2009 is the Belle Couture Package which features black iron framed backdrops with ivory tapestry fabric and tables decorated with pleated ivory sheer skirting overlay and accented with warm coloured draped fabrics such as chocolate, mocha and Victorian plum and illuminated with lights underneath the tables. Price: $750.00.

Also, we now have a classified section on our website where clients and non-clients can post their wedding and family related items for sale. There is no sign up or fee, simply follow the steps for posting. This is simply out of courtesy.

As for my dream team, I would not be as successful without them. Jeanette, who is in Clarenville , has been non-stop since she did her first wedding last summer. It didn't take long for word spread, and the response and demand in Clarenville has been outstanding. Jeanette says, "Margaret is the one made everything and put it together. I only duplicate it." Jen, you do more than duplicate. You're creative and breath of fresh air to the industry. Just to think, she holds down a job as well, and has two toddlers. Way to go, Jeanette! (and her husband Daryl).

Also, special thank you to all my design assistants here: Chelsea (Lead Design Assistant), Taylor who will be entering her third year with me, and Stephanie who just completed her first year, and is on board for her second. Also coming on board with us during 2008 was Celina. She was in charge of chair cover installation and has mastered the art of tying a perfect bow. I am happy to have Celina join us again for 2009. Together we are a creative team. Together we make a bride's dream come true. Thank you, very much.

My availability for 2009 in St. John's, CBS and surrounding areas is very, very limited. July, August, September and October are completely booked out for wedding decor. I still have some chairs covers available. Jeanette is starting to become limited as well. The sooner you inquire and pay your deposit, the better for you. 2010 already has some weekends completely booked out as well, so don't delay.

Jeanette Coward-Avery, has been working very hard with with me this past wedding season and will be the wedding designer for the area.  Jeanette will provide you with the same excellent service and design work to make your wedding day dreams come true.  Full chair covers and backslip covers and sashes are also available.  Jeannette already has numerous bookings for summer 2008, so book early to avoid disappointment.
